Who will be Wade Young's successor? The toughest track of the season awaits in Gefrees on Saturday.

The rest of the mode remains unchanged from last year. After the ACE Bikes Prologue Award, which starts at 8:45 AM, the race begins at 1:00 PM. All participants have 4 hours to complete 5 laps. As the timing starts with each rider's departure, it ensures fair conditions for everyone. Additionally, there will be checkpoints on the course, providing intermediate scoring on the long lap. Online registration for the event in Gefrees is open until Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the following link: www.hardenduro-germany.de/registration-granit-scramblegefrees-03-08-2024 Full Luminus Energy HESG Kids starting grids The morning, as in previous years, is entirely dedicated to the Luminus Energy HESG Kids. All three classes will have their own races in Gefrees. While the 85ccm class competes in a 30-minute race on the prologue course, the 50ccm and 65ccm kids will each race twice for 15 minutes. Their award ceremony will follow directly at noon. For the first time this season, 6 children will be starting in the 85ccm class. Among them is once again Noah Rübesamen, who has already secured victories in the series and might be hot on the heels of Linus Albert. Even though the start of the school year is being celebrated in some federal states, the 50ccm class is still very well filled with 7 kids. Mika Klose is once again the favorite here. Current leader Jordan Wittenberg is still absent in the 65ccm class, which could allow for a new winner. The favorites are Constantin Richter, Lenny Baum, and Louis Meier. Who will win in Gefrees? Is there going to be a new season winner on the challenging track in Gefrees? This is the big question, as the technical track can always lead to mechanical failures or other difficulties. Therefore, it's also difficult to pick a favorite ahead of the fifth race of the season. Lenny Geretzky will not be participating, as he was injured last week at the Red Bull Romaniacs. This means the winner of the last race is already out of the list of favorites. The biggest chances should definitely be with the championship leader Henry Strauss, Leon Hentschel, and Rico Petzold. Petzold is steadily moving up to the top, making a podium finish well within reach. The answers to many questions will come on Saturday. All fans are warmly welcome in the Fichtelgebirge to witness another spectacular HESG race.
